Development Approval Granted

Walker has secured approval for its $300 million twin residential towers, SOL by Walker, in Maroochydore City Centre. The 19-storey development will offer 251 homes, including apartments, townhouses, and penthouses, with prices starting at $660,000. Ground-floor retail, bars, and restaurants will anchor the towers, complemented by amenities such as a rooftop terrace, coworking spaces, a gym, and a sunset lawn.
With construction expected to begin in Q2 2025, SOL addresses the growing demand for premium housing in Maroochydore, Australia’s largest greenfield CBD. RPM Managing Director Peter Neale highlighted strong local interest in the project, citing its superior design, location, and amenities. The first residents are anticipated to move in by Q3 2027, contributing to alleviating the Sunshine Coast’s housing shortage.
